I am praying that ALL of my Deeper Walk Ministries friends would have a very blessed Resurrection Sunday. I pray that we ALL realize that we died with Christ and that we have risen with Him as well. I also pray that we ALL know that we are seated with Him in Heaven.
With this knowledge, let us, therefore, move from a position of resurrected power! Let us let our Lord rise bigger and better than ever in us!

Without a doubt, there are many good people in this world. Certainly most people will agree that a good person is anyone who is kind, helpful, caring, gentle, understanding, patient, and loving. However, what most people fail to recognize is that there is a difference between being a good person and being a good Christian, and that this difference has nothing to do with the quality of goodness but rather with whether or not the basic life priorities a good person follows are like those that Jesu…

It’s mind-blowing to witness Christians eagerly yet blindly following pagan festival and worship customs to the point that it’s difficult to tell believers from unbelievers; case in point: the moveable feast of Easter, a pagan holiday that Constantine helped to establish as a Christian holiday celebrated with eggs, cakes, bunnies, and sun worship (a.k.a., sunrise services)!
A word to the wise should be sufficient....

The most famous biblical
Law of Compensation is: We reap what we sow (cf.
Hosea 10:12-13 and
Galatians 6:7). Just as it is true that if we plant tomatoes, then we will reap tomatoes; and just as it is true that if we plant weeds, then we will reap weeds; thus, it also should come as no surprise that if we plant seeds of
love,
mercy,
forgiveness,
peace,
holiness,
righteousness, and
kindness, then we will be loved, shown mercy,…

In a recent broadcast of
Zola Levitt Presents, Dr, Jeffrey Seif made a comment about how we can deal with what has been happening globally in 2009. He said: "We need David-like leadership in these Goliath-like times." His comment is food for thought that we can munch on throughout 2009!

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all
men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” (
John 13:34-35, KJV).
Isn’t it ironic that in this modern age of technology there are far too many professed Christians who are using their Internet access capabilities for the primary purpose of remaining “disconnected” (det…

their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” (

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Rev. Nadine Drayton-Keen
On your mark. Get set. Go. We, who are familiar with these track-and-field sports commands, know that after they are spoken a race will begin. In that race, we know that there will be many lanes of competitors, and that every lane’s runner will be expecting to be the first-place winner—to be the one who gets the prize. If the other runners do not finish first, we also know that they are hopin…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Rev. Nadine Drayton-Keen
In all of us is a little bit of the unbelief seen in Nicodemus. Like him, we do not understand, completely, the full implications of God’s new covenant promised to Israel concerning the new ‘spirit’ and heart of flesh that God would give His wayward chosen people that would cause them to renew their love and commitment to God—an astonishing change in their attitude and demeanor that would…

Pray for President Obama, His Family, and Our Nation
Apostle Paul says to Timothy that:
"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone--for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." ( 1 Timothy 2:1-4, NIV)

Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die like everyone else, will live again. They are given eternal life for believing in me and will never perish. Do you believe this, Martha?" (
John 11:25-26, NLT; cf.
John 3:16)

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
We have said before today that it is very possible to have faith in Jesus the Christ and still have unbelief. No one demonstrates this truth better than the very strong willed and vociferous Simon Peter. Like this Peter, who believes in God and Christ, yet shows unbelief during his walking on water fiasco, too many of us who also confidently profess our belief in God and Christ will spea…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
Many pastors and other church spiritual leaders make the mistake in thinking that they can be everything to everyone. No one can take care of the needs of every person in any one particular church, local community, work environment, and so forth. That’s why God’s Word teaches us that every believer must work together with other believers to achieve meeting the needs of every person. Notic…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
The “meat” in today’s devotion is best understood if you know what kind of Old Ship of Zion you either have boarded or have become. Only the Old Ships of Zion are the ones that successfully have weathered the storms of life. Aboard these ships, the people who have been troubled or nearly drowned by the Tsunamis that swept over their souls will receive priceless wisdom. For this reason, we…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
As we walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit’s baptism, Christ will become increasingly significant and precious to us. Conversely, we short-circuit our rebirth’s wiring when we walk in the flesh. As a result, Christ will become less precious to us. For sure, how much value we place in Christ will be indicative of where we are spiritually. Even though it is the Holy Spirit’s job to overs…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
Although many of today’s Christians seek God’s heavenly treasure chest (His spiritual riches), it also is true that MOST of these Christians want the money, fame, titles, positions, enlightenments, etcetera that the world’s economic, political, or religious systems offer more than they want what God offers. What’s more, the majority of believers searching specifically for comfort, warmth…

Faith and Wisdom: A Rhema Word in a Dry and Thirsty Land (2006) by Reverend Nadine Drayton-Keen
As a result of the Holy Spirit’s Positional Sanctification, we now have unlimited access to God and fellowship with Him, as well as limitless opportunities to worship Him. Since God has adopted us as His “spiritual” sons and daughters, this adoption now gives us the right to say to Him, “Abba, Father.” The word “Abba” in today’s Scripture is translated as “Papa” or “Daddy.” Without a doub…
